Onward from the comma
Some stories don’t start with a big bang. They sneak into your life, grow roots in your heart, and one day you realize you have lived a whole chapter without noticing.
That was Pexels for me. Almost five years. I started as a user and somehow found myself helping shape the very community that once inspired me. With a bit of luck and a lot of heart, I became a small part of a big story.
At Pexels I had the rare privilege of building creative communities rooted not just in talent, but in heart. From Istanbul to Berlin to Cape Town, I met hundreds of creators who didn’t just show what they saw. They shared what they felt. Together we built more than a platform. We built belonging.

When it was time to go, I didn’t want to call it an ending. It was a comma: a pause to look back with gratitude before the next clause.
The next clause was Canva, in Türkiye. Once a Pexels lover, always a Pexels lover.
Onward from the comma.
